Return to work, makeup and other skin products depend on the wound and the treatment used. Wait for advice that the skin has healed sufficiently instead of relying on a fixed seven-to-ten-day rule. A scar or longer-lasting pigment change can remain after removal.

Seek review for increasing redness, pain, discharge, delayed healing or a mole that grows back.
